Website Launched!

Wow! Time really flies, huh? Things are going terrific over on this end, my website finally has launched after working on it since July. I'm extremely happy with the outcome. I still have a few things to tweak, for example, the quotation mark is wrong on my main quote, and it wont let me change the graphic, and *I* tried to take the pictures of my candles myself, and well, I failed miserably. LOL. I'm going to hire a professional photographer to take pics of my products. People want to see what they're buying, right? Anyway, if you would like to check it out, it's http://www.makinperfectscents.com/ Oh, I also need to add a tart page! I'm a tart loverrrr!

I've been spending a lot of time with my little cousin who is 11 months old. It's definitely giving Chris and I baby fever. Hopefully sometime this year we can try for a baby. I would like to lose some weight first, and I'll be happy. Good ole Weight Watcher's is helping me, plus I've been working my behind off on that evil elliptical. LOL.

Anyway, just wanted to update. I'm not sure if I have any readers, but wanted to update for my own sake. It's good to come back and check to see how far you've come.
Have a great week! :0)

Excited. :)

I'm so extremely excited! Today I finally put my shelf of candles in the store. (Isn't that shelf awesome? I bought it at Hobby Lobby @ 40% off, which came to 100.00, not bad at all, I LOVE IT!) (Not much else to report, we're going Cosmic bowling tonight, so that's all for now.)

Scent List.

I've had some people ask me what kind of scents I carry, so here they are! :0)

The best Angel Food Cake starts with meticulously prepared ingredients: sifted cake flour, gleaming white sugar, and in my opinion, a half-teaspoon each of vanilla and almond extracts. Our Angel Food Cake fragrance is deliciously reminiscent of the real thing, right down to the oven-fresh aroma of a perfect, spongy slice. Yes, our Angel Food Cake fragrance may smell like the delightful melding of sugar, vanilla, almond, and magic, but we highly recommend that you refrain from eating it. (Just trust us.)

Applejack 'n Peel
A perfect match for Claire Burke's best selling fragrance, you'll find this scent sells well during the holidays. It is an incredible blend of mulled cider, cinnamon sticks, and a twist of orange peel. This is not "Apple Cider" or "Cinnamon Apple", it's a scent all its own, unique and wonderful! This is one of our best selling fragrances for the fall and cold months, and we think you'll find your customers especially love it during this time of the year!

Badedas
A bracing blend of "clean" from European spas. Badedas is a classic blend reserved for body washes in the spas of Germany, France, and Belgium. This scent is an upscale blend of fresh, invigorating leafy greens& florals, basil, citrus, amber, and musk. A brilliant, invigorating, and sparkling scent that will make you feel romantic throughout the evening.

Berries & Violets
This scent just echoes romance! We love this fragrance, it is an absolute delight. Tremendous in bath and body products, dipped critters too! We picture Victorian lace gloves and old fashioned water pitchers filled with delicate, fragrant violets! Pair this with Raspberry Lilac for a complementary gift set, these two fragrances inspire each other!

Bird of Paradise
This oil has such a unique twist that we just had to share it with you. It is strong out of bottle and wonderful in product. Sweet creamy vanilla is decorated with fresh juicy strawberries and hot from the tropics freshly grated coconut. A true delight for those tropic lovers. Wonderful in candles and in bath and body items.

Birthday Cake
This is hands-down the best Birthday Cake we have EVER smelled! Three years in the making, we finally found "THE" perfect blend of moist white cake and hurt-your-teeth sweet Butter cream vanilla frosting! Yes, we admit it, the sample made us go buy a birthday cake and ice cream for a little celebration. If you close your eyes and concentrate, you can 'almost' smell the little candy sprinkles. This is not "White Cake" simply renamed to Birthday Cake, ours has that thick, rich Butter cream frosting to set it apart and give you "Cake in a bottle"! If you prefer a plain white cake, we are working on a White Cake now!

Blissful Blackberry
(BBW Type) This fragrance tantalizes the nose with fresh sweet blackberry and soft florals. A true match to the Bath & Body Works fragrance. An absolute must have for your candle and body product sets.

Blue Lagoon
A wonderfully light scent with fresh modern tones, Blue Lagoon transports you to the ecstasy and beauty of the deep blues of a hidden lagoon. A fresh fragrance that is perfect for unisex candles, soaps, lotions, and incense!

Butter Cream
So rich you'll want to eat it (but please, don't), our Butter Cream fragrance drips with heavy whipping cream, peaks of sugar, and enough butter to completely and irreversibly clog every artery you own. Such an irresistibly delicious scent, you'll thank heaven it's only a fragrance oil!

ClothesPins
Nothing beats the smell of fresh, clean laundry - dried by a warm summer sun on a clear day with gentle breezes. This wonderful fragrance is all that and more. It is fresh and clean, and you just can't seem to get enough.

Country Apple (BBW Type) Bath& Bodyworks type.
In any other fragrance, undertones of musk would never be considered sweet. But in this oil, the barely detectable smell of musk comes across as more wholesome than sexy. The most dominant notes in this FO are those of crisp Cortland apples, known for their sweet-smelling white flesh and tart taste. Reinforcing this juicy smell is the uplifting aroma of apple blossoms and the light, airy scent of jasmine buds. The end result is a stimulating, a healthy aroma perfect for use in scented candles, Bath and Body products, and incense.

English Lavender
A wonderfully relaxing fragrance of true English Lavender. This fragrance is being reformulated for use in body products. This is a traditional must-have for candle fragrances. We are reformulating this one to make it safe in body products. Flannel Sheets A fresh linen/clean cotton type that will leave you smiling. This scent has the beautiful aroma of fresh clothes just pulled from a sun drenched drying line.

Forbidden Fruit
So much sweetness, sinning is a given! Don't let the fact that this is a Pomegranate scent run you off - this oil is INCREDIBLE. It's a delicious, captivating scent that will leave you wanting more. It blends well with Vanilla Bean or Luscious Vanilla if you want a creamy note.

Forget Me Not
Absolutely one of the best floral fragrances on the market, this fragrance is a TRUE floral. Smells like a fresh flower garden after a spring rain. Rich, soft floral tones that create a fresh clean fragrance.

French Vanilla Creamy Vanilla.

Fruit Medley
A delightful & refreshing mix of citrus, melons, apples and pears. A top selling fragrance. Green Tea & Cucumber This fabulous fragrance oil is a perfect blend of green tea as the high note, underscored with fresh cucumber as the bottom note. This is a very fresh, clean fragrance. It has exceptional cold and hot throw in candles and makes wonderfully fresh personal care products.

Lavender
Quite true to the real thing, our Lavender fragrance is more herbal than floral. A clean, relaxing scent - the perfect complement to your Lavender essential oil products.

Lemon Verbena
This is absolutely the BEST lemon I have found. Tangy but smooth, no fuel or furniture polish smell. Very fresh and fills the room with true lemon. Great in soaps to remove cooking, fishing, & hunting scents from your hands.

Little Black Dress
Oh yes, this is it! Of all the fragrances we've had naming contests for, none have ever caused as much of an uproar as this one! A custom blend, it's one of the sexiest fragrances we have! Bottom notes of White Carnation and blood orange are the perfect foil for the heart notes, comprised of sandalwood, black rose, smoky wood, and a kiss of patchouli. The top notes give a hint of toasted vanilla bean and whiffs of vetiver, amber, and the tiniest touch of Egyptian musk for a smoky, sexy finish. (If you hate musk, try this anyway, I promise you won't know it is there!) This is a big hit with the husbands and boyfriends! If I was able to fit into one, this is what I would wear. It just screams strappy sandals and slinky dress!

Love Spell A beautiful VS type!
This is a fresh, sensuous fragrance with top notes of grapefruit, clementines and strawberries. Middle notes are peach, black currant, and rose petals. Rounding out the scent is a sweet, white musky base note.

Monkey Farts
Wow, what a treat! We added this after many requests, and chose this particular one because the throw from our test candle filled the room in no time. Now, we know you're familiar with the name of this scent, so we'll sidestep the disgusting jokes and just give you the description. It's a blend of fresh bananas, kiwi, strawberries, pineapple, bubble gum and undertones of vanilla. Yes, a lush, yummy smell despite the name and you won't be disappointed!

Oriental Seduction
Classified as a "floriental", this warm, hypnotic and captivating (some say aphrodisiacal!) fragrance is another best seller from FES! Base notes of Madagascar vanilla, oriental lilies, China musk, and orange flowers preclude a kiss of soft sandalwood, ginger, and chypre, with a drydown of Five Spice powder and woody herbals. Designer orientals include Cinnabar, Escada, and John Paul Gaultier. If you like these, you are bound to love Oriental Seduction!

Pink Sugar type (Aquolina)
This boutique bestseller by Aquolina is finally here! Stylish, lively, and inquisitive, Pink Sugar is a scent that evokes sensuality, gentleness, and passion. This fragrance is a must have for your entire line: soaps, sugar scrubs, lotions, candles, incense, and more. It is has notes of pink cotton candy, sweet lemon drops, raspberries, fig leaves, caramel, Sicilian orange, Barbe-a-Papa, Lily of the Valley, and powdery vanilla musk. Playful, mischievous, romantic. Pink Sugar is a fragrance for the skin, for the body, for the heart, for the nose, for the soul.

Raspberry Lilac
Ideal for upcoming Spring projects such as Dipped Easter Bunnies or Bears! The perfect balance of butterfly bushes and softly sweet ripe raspberries, this is another oil you won't be able to put down. Lends itself to fantasy interpretation, have fun renaming this one! Your customers will never be able to pin down just what it is about this fragrance that makes it so irresistible... not too sweet, not too green, it's just right. Fresh, clean, floral and yet even people who loathe florals tell us they love this scent! This is also a great blending base, add a splash of Lavender, Vanilla, or Baby Powder.

Rose Geranium
This is a great blend of tea rose and fresh geranium flowers! Now, if you are into essential oils, this is a great sub for the rose geranium essential oil. Great performer in paraffin, wax, and your body products! Many customers are telling us that they are replacing their usual rose with our Rose Geranium! Floral lovers rejoice! This is not an overpowering, sickly-sweet rose accord, it's a genteel, delicately provocative rose note perfectly balanced with the geranium leaf.

Satsuma (Body Shop type)
One of Body Shop's long time customer favorites! A magical blend of mandarin slices & peel, bergamot, spices and exotic fruits! This is in the Oriental Seduction and Madagascar Spice family, if you like those then you are SURE to love Satsuma! We have tried to have this reformulated for higher flashpoint but have not been able to replicate the fabulous scent within a higher flashpoint formula. The performance suffers greatly and we can't have that! Once you smell this you'll agree, don't mess with success!

Strawberry
The scent is almost indistinguishable from the real thing! It's like having a bowl of freshly picked, juicy, red strawberries with you everywhere you go. No candy tones in this oil! This fragrance is succulent enough to make your mouth water. The ripe, natural scent of strawberries makes deliciously divine lotions. And for you incense makers - don't miss out on a chance to make your rooms smell like fresh berries. Yummy!

Very Sexy - For Him
A fabulous Victoria's Secret type for HIM! And "very sexy" are perfect words to describe this clean, fresh, modern scent. YOWZA also comes to mind! This fragrance is very contemporary with masculine notes of lime, fresh apple, black raspberry, and rosewood fused on a base of musky wood. Racy and sensuous, this oil is perfect for soaps & lotions as well as incense! Also safe for use in gel. Very strong throw in candles.

Watermelon
Imagine diving into a cool watermelon slice on a hot summer's day! This is a true, fresh watermelon fragrance with an awesome scent throw!

White Ginger & Amber (Bath & Body Works Type)
Were you disappointed, like we were, when Bath and Body Works discontinued this lovely fragrance? We snagged a bottle of body spray and had this made so that we could have it any time we wanted! Edgy and vivid white ginger and smooth, smoky, sexy amber set the mood, with end notes of sandalwood! If you make incense you will LOVE our version!

Pink Hydrangea
Another long-discontinued yet still beloved fragrance from Bath & Body Works! This has to be THE most realistic Hydrangea scent we've ever found! Sweet fragranced petals in a powerfully strong fragrance! One of our favorites and a hot seller! Try this beauty in your dipped critters and see if you can keep up with the demand! Simply incredible in bath products and toiletries. A favorite for Spring and Summer!

Fresh Cut Tulips
This is from the original manufacturer of Yankee's Tulip fragrance. Now you can have your favorite Yankee scent, in a candle you can actually SMELL! Simply the most devastatingly realistic and true Tulip you will find anywhere, it will bring you to your knees in pure Tulip bliss! Velvety petals and pollen in a vividly bright and intense floral. Wonderful base blender with other florals and fruits.

New! Bartlett & Basil
A clean, crisp fragrance fusing juicy Bartlett Pears with fresh herbal basil. This is a fresh, invigorating scent that refreshes the air around it and adds a lively tone. Perfect for a line of soaps and candles.

Blackberry Sage (Pier 1 type)
A unique herbal/berry blend inspired by Pier 1. Tart & sweet blackberries fused with spice from green sage leaves. This one has a robust throw in paraffin and soy. Also a great choice for soaps, lotions, bath salts, and linen and air freshener sprays to complete your line, including unisex products! Incense lovers will clamor for this one. A very, very versatile scent with a clean background. You'll want to use it in everything!

NEW AS IN (Updated 6/5/07)
Amazing Grace
a rosy-cheeked cherub romping in Heaven's gardens...this fragrance is powerful and emotional. A bouquet of nature's precious white flowers (including jasmine, hawthorn, honeysuckle, wild climbing trumpets, and magnolia), muguet, with a dry down of the softest sweet musk. Incredible performance in your candles, soaps, and lotions! Try using at a reduced rate, this is mighty powerful! Almost Paradise Drift away to paradise with this dreamy aroma.

Creamy coconut
milk combined with peaches and fresh cream is a tantalizing treat for the senses. This scent is very versatile making not only perfect candles, but dreamy soaps and lotions too! A definite must-have oil for your entire line of products.

New! Banana Walnut Cake
Wow this oil is just screams out pour me! This is not to be confused with Banana Nut Bread. This oil is a true powerful cake and you can smell the individuals notes of brown sugar and fresh bananas with freshly crushed walnuts, smells like it just came out of the oven.

Blueberry Muffin
You won't believe how wonderful and true this oil is! Butter, brown sugar, and sweet wild blueberries, this is one of our hottest selling fragrances. We'd even venture a guess that this will be the last Blueberry Muffin you'll buy, it's that good. Ours also does not mutate dye like some can, liquid and block dyes perform equally with this scent. Amazing hot and cold throw. One of our best sellers in food candles and tart melts.

Gardenia
Just stick your nose in the flower because you won't be able to tell the difference. This fragrance is the real thing. Very aromatic and fresh. Makes scrumptious bath and body products and has fabulous cold and hot throw in candles.

Ruby Red Graprefruit
Wow, why doesn't anyone have this in their line yet? I just love the smell of this. This is like cutting into a big ole Texas Ruby Red Grapefruit. Mix this with a little Mint Julep and you have delightful bath and body products. Perfect for all your blends where you desire a strong and true citrus note but don't want that annoying "fuel" smell that most Grapefruit fragrances offer. This is the truest Ruby Red we've ever found!

New! Pound Cake
Sweet creamy vanilla enhanced yellow cake. You can do so many things with this oil. You can add strawberry, add banana, pour it by itself. If you enjoy smelling like a cake and want hungry men chasing you then this is your fragrance. This is a great fragrance for candles and many have reported a top seller in Bath/Body products.

New! Pumpkin Cheesecake
A must have for cheesecake lovers! A scrumptious, mouth-watering blend of creamy pumpkin, subtle spices, vanilla, and cream cheese with a hint of graham cracker crust.

Southern Sunshine at its finest!

Juicy Florida tangerines fused with sweet Georgia peaches makes for a fruity knockout winner! Out of the bottle it may not be what you expect, but once in your product it becomes even more magnificent! Candle tests had fantastic hot & cold throw. Makes wonderfully energizing lotions! Add just a touch of this oil to your bases of liquid soap and shampoo - you'll smell terrific all day. Great also as a blender with Green Apple, Fruit Medley, Vanilla Bean, White Cake, and Black Cherry.
(New Arrivals 6/26/07)

Just Peachy
The best description for this fragrance is "wipe the juice off your chin, it is sun ripened peach." An absolutely dead-on fresh juicy peach.

New! Prada
This upscale perfume launched in 2004 and is a sophisticated blend of bergamot, mandarin, mimosa absolute, Indonesian patchouli, labdanum, tonka bean, and Indian sandalwood. This Prada scent is well balanced, intensely feminine, refined, elegant, en vogue, and innocent. Best Seller!

Vanilla Bean T
his was our very first Vanilla FO and it's still a top seller! Subtle and laid back yet sophisticated and popular, this scent is smooth, pure, deep, and rich. Vanilla at its finest without top-heavy buttery notes that overpower the natural bean. This can also be used as your "classic" Vanilla scent that's a staple in every product line - our Vanilla Bean oil has a perfect, well-rounded balance that isn't too sweet. We should've named this Perfect Vanilla! It is a staple for blending too....it blends well with a wide variety of scents, even florals...really! Make your own blends to create some magic....how about a Cherry Slush Smoothie or a fresh take on Freesia with just a tip of Vanilla Bean.

New! Berry Bundt Cake
Here is another homebaked scent that's sure to become a favorite. The oil offers a mouthwatering scent of a freshly baked cake with berries, almond, orange zest, and a dash of cinnamon. Simply delicious!! A perfect choice for body scrubs and candles.

Best Seller! Black Cherry
One of our all-time best sellers! The big, bold scent is perfect for incense. An unlit candle can fill a room with the intoxicating fragrance, freshening the air with the sweet scent of Black Cherries. This isn't sickly sweet like Maraschino Cherries - it's a deep, dark, succulent Black Cherry. A powerful performer on its own but can also be used as a blender with other berry Fragrance Oils or White Cake for yummy creations!
Best Seller! Celtic MoonSpice CherMark formulation A wonderfully fragrant blend of warm spices, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg. Gives you that warm home & hearth feeling like a cozy cottage with a fireplace on a cold snowy evening. This fragrance is for use in wax and soy.

New! Chocolate Walnut Espresso
I love Chocolate and many of us do. What is better than a warm cup of espresso in the morning than chocolate to go with it? While it isn't safe for soap and lotions it is wonderful in soy and candles. Did I say I love chocolate yet?

New! Creamy Cinnamon Vanilla
This oil is sooooooooo strong that if you pour it all day long you will get a headache. The cinnamon is the strongest out there and it just mellowed slightly by the addition of a sweet creamy vanilla. This oil is skin/soap safe and I would probably use it in smaller amounts than you normally would. It truly is strong. Great in candles and wonderful to dip those stuffed animals into.

Cucumber Melon
This is THE Bath & Body Works version! Watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, and fresh green cucumbers combine into a softly provocative fragrance! But "soft" does not imply it isn't strong! This is not a wimpy Cucumber Melon, this is the version you wish you had found the first time you ever purchased Cucumber Melon, the one you keep searching for and haven't "quite" been able to find. With its versatility in candle and body applications, let the cross-merchandising begin!

Sugar Cookie
We had this made because we didn't like what usually passes for "sugar cookie" out there. There are no lemon or spice notes in our sugar cookie, in fact ours is more "sugar" than "cookie". Our idea of the perfect sugar cookie scent was the cookie my grandma always made: soft, chewy, with a thick powdered sugar frosting and sprinkles! We finally found it! Try this on fixin's or in potpourri, you can also pass it off as "Candy Corn" and your customers will say it smells just like the candy. Versatile mixer. Many of our candle customers report they use this as their Vanilla of choice.

Busy Busy Busy

Wow, firstly, I have to say I give Mom's/Dad's a standing ovation. I've had Erica (My 4mo cousin) since this past Friday, and let me tell you, while she's an amazing baby, hardly gives any fuss, it's still REALLY REALLY hard. Especially when my husband is at work, and I'm doing it on my own. You sometimes forget to eat, have to squeeze a 10 minute shower in between her naps, her feedings in the middle of the night. It's just a never ending job, now I TRULY understand when a Mom says, "It's a 24 hour job." It really really is, but, I love that little girl, and I'd do it all over again. :0)

Seems as though there is more rain heading our way. As much as I love the rain, it's been raining way too much. I love taking the baby out for a walk in her stroller in the early evenings. It's good exercise, and she loves all her surroundings.

Thursday I need to buckle down on all the candles I need to make for the store in which I will be stocking my candles in. I'm also looking for a really cute shelf, kind of rustic looking, maybe white, with wood peaking from the back, or just plain wood. I want to decorate the shelf so my candles pop more. I need to place a new order for wax/scents. I can't wait for fall, I LOVE LOVE LOVE fall. Especially when it's kind of cool outside, and it's cozy inside with a nice candle lit, and the aroma filling your house. For the 4th of July, I'm making triple layered candles, with 3 different scents, and of course red/white/blue. That should be lots of fun.

Anyhow.. I will be going for now, the baby is asleep, and I should take advantage of it. ;)

Have a wonderful day!

So Happy!

So today I went in and spoke with the owner of the Mail Center place, Wayne. (The one who was interested in stocking my candles in his store.) Welll, I went in, and showed him my candles, the scents, and a tester in which I have been testing to show him that my candle have an even burn all the way down to the bottom, and they don't lose their scent at all. He was extremely impressed with my candles, and my presentation, so he wants them in ASAP. He also wants to sell them online. (He has a "Store" online.) He said if it goes good, he has a friend at another location in San Antonio, and he will definitely tell him about me, so Yay for me.. Ha!

Here are my labels, as you can see on my jar, I designed them, I looked at a lot of different companies labels and I picked what I liked and went from there. What do you think? :0)

Anyhow, not a lot going on, just babysitting the 4 month old, she's being really good. I love kids, I can't wait until I have my own. One day...

That's all for now folks, here are more pics of my labels. I don't have one same label, I like it to be a bit colorful, and appealing to the eye.

Have a great weekend!
Kim

(Excuse the water drops on some of them, it's been raining non-stop in San Antonio, and it just so happened to get my label sheets wet. Oh well, I can always print more. Also, I don't have that website domain just yet, I'm purchasing it this week, so if you happen to go to it and it's not a running website.. you'll know why. :0) These were just for presentation showing the guy what the labels will look like, and the site name.)

Finished Product.

Here is the finished product. My friend wanted a 3 lb candle, with a simple brown/rustic look to it, as far as PP. I thought this worked our perfectly. She said her room decor has a bunch of wood, and rustic feel to it, so I inked the edges to give more of an antique look. I never liked the way my inked edges came out until I asked the message board over on 2peas. A girl recommended using a make-up sponge applicator and smearing it on the edges, it worked out perfectly. I also agree that the Chalk ink pads work best. :0) I hope she's happy with it. I also decorated the top with a bunch of Prima flowers. Outcome at the bottom of the page. :)

Last night I came home and I had to take a trip to the ladies room, (I'm trying to be lady like, LOL) and as I was looking down at my bathtub I noticed a baby scorpion. I FLIPPED out. My husband thought it was hilarious since we are in Texas, and that is supposed to be "Normal". Heck no that isn't normal! I called right away and the Pest Control is coming right away to spray. They informed us, there isn't much they can do, but they'll still come. They're guessing it's because of the rain, or hot weather. He said he has had a lot of calls about that lately. Ugh, if there is a baby, there is MOST likely a mommy around here somewhere, and that does not sit pretty for me.

Speaking of babies, I will have my little cousin Erica for 5 days starting this evening. She's 4 month's old, and her parents are going to Corpus for 5 days. I told her I'd watch her because she's still way too young to be out in the sun for long periods of time, and that will put a damper on their plans to go fishing and all that good stuff. Not to mention they have a 6 y/o boy that has been on the "Back Burner" so to speak ever since Erica has been born. He really hasn't, but, you know how much attention you have to give to a newborn, and it's hard since this is his first sibling. He has been very good during this entire change.

Well, I have laundry to do, and I have to dust. FUN FUN FUN! :0) So that's all for now. I also wanted to say Thank you to those who have stopped by and said Hello. I plan on visiting you'll today.

Have a wonderful weekend!
Kim

Will they every stop?

(Size of the candle, this was another candle I did, triple scented, Sugar Cookies, Birthday Cake, and Cinnamon Buns. I also whipped wax to make it look like frosting and put sprinkles on the top. It was a HUGE hit!)
Ok, so I just poured a 3 lb Blissful Blackberry (Bath and Body dupe) for an ex co-worker of mine, and now I have a horrific migraine. To top if off, the landscaping guys decided to come and cut the grass and edging, which is only making my migraine 100x more. (Which I find rather odd since It was pouring earlier, and the grass should be extremely wet.) Go figure, I guess I will never understand.

Since I've gotten back into scrapping, I decided I'm going to pre-plan my meals, and make a cute menu and post it on the fridge so hubby knows what we will be eating that night. It's a good way of organizing, and of course you don't go crazy at the grocery store, and want to buy everything on the shelves. I have a tendency, ok, let me rephrase I had a tendency to go into HEB or Wal-Mart Super center, and spend 200.00 EASILY with just hubby and I, because I will throw whatever I want in the cart, and then the next day I didn't know what we'd be having for dinner. This way, we can plan ahead, and save cash. A good deal to me.

I may have my first potential client, which I'm extremely excited about. (A client as in, a business putting my candles in their store.) My MIL was at a Local shipping place, I think it was Gone Postal, or something of that nature, and she noticed a candle on the counter, and she asked them, "Do yall sell candles here?" The guy then informed her, "We did, but we lost our supplier because she quit doing candles." My MIL then proceeded on telling him that I'm starting up my business, doing all the trial and error and mastered it, and now I'm finding places in which I will store my candles at. He was very interested, and gave her his business card. Tomorrow I will call him and schedule a meeting so I can show him my products. I'm happy about that, this has been my dream, and I think it's going to finally come true. Doing the legwork makes a remarkable difference. You can't just jump in, and expect everything to fall into your lap. Not going to happen.

Today I started my work-out routine. I feel SOOO much better. I need to do this for me, and my health, because hubby and I plan on starting the baby-making process early 2008. So, I have no time for slacking.

Anyhow, I'm off to go take a trip to Hobby Lobby and browse. :-) I need new ribbon.

Have a blessed day!
Kim
